Fastbreak Service
Proceed to the Budget counter Fastbreak line/or normal line if no Fastbreak line designation/or follow directions to the Fastbreak Kiosk. Present identification and receive your rental agreement. The counter representative will give the customer the keys & directions to their car.
FASTBREAK RETURN: Follow the airport signs for Car Rental return. You do not need to return to the counter to complete your rental. Record your mileage and fuel level on the rental agreement and drop it in the Budget Fastbreak return box. A closed rental agreement will be mailed to you within 48 hours.
General Directions
COUNTER: For Brisbane International Terminal arrivals, Budget counter is located at arrivals hall level 2. For Brisbane Domestic arrivals, counter is located on the ground floor across from the baggage claim area.
CARS: Vehicles are located in the parking bays just ouside the terminal.
RETURNS: Same as pick-up.
AFTER-HOURS RETURNS: Vehicles may be returned to the parking bay and keys left in the drop box at the Budget counter.
After-hours Returns
Park & lock the car. Place the completed contract & the keys in the Drop Box located in the Returns area. Remember to take your personal belongings with you.

The airport is well serviced by great local roads, however, with rental cars a fantastic way to get in and out of the city. Many of the attractions are close to the city centre, including the Botanical Gardens, South Bank, and Gallery of Modern Art (GOMA).

On the way to the city, you can check out Fortitude Valley, which is where you'll find China Town. If the Valley is a little too grimy for your liking, nearby New Farm Park is a great place to relax and enjoy a peaceful walk along the Brisbane River. The affluent suburbs of Ascot and Hamilton are also a great place to enjoy a coffee and a nice stroll close to the airport.
