Budget Australia has been recognised as having Australia’s Most Satisfied Customers, taking out the top spot in Canstar Blue’s 2022 Hire Car review.
As Aussies get back to travel and explore destinations closer to home, the award is a testament to Budget’s commitment to taking the hassle out of car hire and helping holidaymakers Get To The Good Stuff.
Budget Australia was the only brand to be awarded five stars for overall customer satisfaction, along with five stars for customer service and four stars for availability of vehicle and value for money.
The award follows Budget’s ongoing investment into products and services that continue to evolve as the market changes - including features such as Digital Check-In, PhotoProofed, and the FastBreak program, enabling quicker service at check-in and check-out to streamline the rental process and make travel easier for customers.
With over 200 convenient locations across Australia, a range of vehicle types and long-term car rental options for customers who want to stay on the road longer, Budget is there for travellers and it’s no surprise that Budget Australia was voted number one by Canstar Blue.

The annual rating by Canstar Blue, a consumer review and comparison website, ranks the nation’s car rental companies based on how content customers are with Australia’s hire car providers. This year Canstar sought feedback from over 300 people who hired a car within Australia in the last 12 months.
