Most Trusted Brand Award | Budget Car Rental

For the second consecutive year, Budget Australia has been named Australia’s Most Trusted Brand in the Car Rental category in the 2022 Reader’s Digest Trusted Brands survey.

Australians have voted Budget Australia for delivering the most outstanding customer service in the car rental industry, earning the company the Gold ‘Quality Service Award’ for customer excellence.

The annual independent survey conducted by Catalyst Research and commissioned by Reader’s Digest identifies the top brands in Australia.

Being recognised as a Reader’s Digest Trusted Brand earns Budget Australia the privilege to use the Reader’s Digest Trustmark logo, a symbol for consumers noting reliability, high-quality and value for money.

Tom Mooney, Managing Director of Avis Budget Group, Pacific says, “We are thrilled to receive the award for Most Trusted Brand in Car Rental for the second year in a row.

“To receive the award once is an honour, but to receive it two years in a row is a testament to how we continue to strive to offer a faster, safer and more service-driven experience and great value for money to our customers. As a service industry organisation, being recognised in this people’s choice award by our customers is something truly special.”

This award is testament to Budget Australia’s products and services that continue to evolve as the market changes to deliver to its customers the highest quality of service, including:

Digital check-in allows customers to enter their information such as their driving license details, ahead of arriving at the rental location, reducing unnecessary contact with rental staff and other customers in the process while also reducing wait times, offering customers a better rental experience.

PhotoProofed is market-leading technology that captures images of the vehicle’s existing condition before it is given to the customer, meaning that customers can review ahead of time and add any images they feel have been missed.

This year, Reader’s Digest surveyed 3,300 Australians to reveal the brands Australians trust the most across 70 categories spanning the separate NSW, QLD, SA, VIC and WA markets.
