Sydney – 22 November: Australians have voted Budget Australia for delivering the most outstanding customer service in the car rental industry, winning the company the Gold ‘Quality Service Award’ for customer excellence at the Reader’s Digest 2022 awards.
An annual independent survey conducted by Catalyst Research and commissioned by Reader’s Digest identifies the top brands in Australia delivering the highest level of customer service across five key pillars: Personalisation, Understanding, Simplicity, Satisfaction and Consistency. This year, Reader’s Digest surveyed 2,500 Australians to reveal the Australian companies excelling in customer service across 38 categories.
This award is testament to Budget Australia’s products and services that continue to evolve as the market changes and delivers its customers the highest quality of service, including:
- Digital Check-In allows customers to enter their information such as their driving license details, ahead of arriving at the rental location, reducing unnecessary contact with rental staff and other customers in the process and reducing wait times and offers customers a better rental experience.
- PhotoProofed is market-leading technology that captures images of the vehicle’s existing condition before it is given to the customer, meaning that customers can review ahead of time and add any images they feel have been missed.
- Risk Free Bookings offers increased booking flexibility by allowing customers to change or cancel reservations, without fees, and with refunds paid directly to their bank account for rentals due to start before 28 February 2022.
